24 Jul Where Safety + Beauty Go Hand-in-Hand
Having to close our salon locations in Newnan and Peachtree City due to COVID-19 really made us reflect on what is most important in life! We missed our wonderful guests and fellow team members so much, and were beyond excited when we were able to reopen both W. Daly Salon Spa locations in mid-May.
However, it’s important to know that since then, salon appointments at W. Daly look and feel very different than they did before the shutdown. We have implemented temporary, but significant safety protocols to meet and exceed the highest standards of sanitation possible. The motto “Safety is the new luxury” definitely applies to the post-COVID experience at W. Daly, as we continue giving deluxe 5-star services in the safest environment possible.

Because of new capacity restrictions and measures taken to prevent germ spread, here is what your W. Daly experience currently looks like in Peachtree City and Newnan:
- We require all guests to arrive alone (no additional guests or children) unless being assisted by a caretaker.
- Please notify us when you arrive! You can call or check in on your phone with the Pocket Salon App. Our waiting area is closed, so we ask that you remain outside the salon (in your car is ideal) until your service provider is ready for you.
- When it’s time to enter, we will scan your temperature. No one with a fever may enter the building. If your temperature is high, we will help you reschedule your appointment.
- Everyone is required to wear a mask covering nose and mouth at all times while inside the salon, no exceptions. If you need outdoor “mask breaks” let us know prior to your service and we will accommodate you.
In addition, here is what we are doing behind the scenes to further protect you at W. Daly Salon Spa:
- We have installed plexiglass barriers between shampoo bowls and stations;
- We have retained a professional cleaning company to sanitize the salon weekly;
- We thoroughly disinfect stations between each guest;
- If a team member should test positive, we will close the salon and professionally sanitize every surface.

If this sounds like a lot, it is! It’s more work, energy and expense than we were used to expending before the pandemic—but this is non-negotiable. At W Daly our first priority is the safety of our team and guests. We look forward to the day when these measures are no longer necessary, but will continue to uphold them until then.
